Snowclog Mid-Top Sneaker

A very interesting approach to an every day winter shoe. Not to be put in place of a proper winter boot but more than adequate for daily wear in winter conditions. Very comfortable and I find the donning and doffing of the shoe to be nice and simple compared to what a person usually finds themselves wearing in the winter. I live in Northern Alberta where winters are very hard with a mix of all imaginable conditions. With a proper pair of wool socks I never felt cold in these snow clogs and the tread inspires confidence in snow and slush. The look is very different. Everyone will notice these when you wear them and ask what they are. Looking forward to putting these back into service for the upcoming winter.

I purchased this product expecting the same level of durability and performance that originally made me a fan, but unfortunately it falls far short. The sole is not made the way it used to be. The newer construction using recycled materials simply does not hold up over time. The traction and structure feel weaker, and signs of wear showed up much sooner than expected with normal use. I understand and support sustainability efforts, but not at the expense of quality and longevity. Previous versions of this product were far more durable and reliable, which makes this downgrade especially frustrating. Overall, I am very disappointed and would not recommend this version to anyone expecting the performance and lifespan that this product line was once known for.

Concept is a 10 Design is a 0 Use in snow, wonderful, love them. Great traction and the feet stay nice and warm. That’s if the zipper stays up. I’ve yet to wear them where the zipper doesn’t un-zip. Keep in mind, this is after the 20 minutes it takes to put them on. (Small Exaggeration) Seriously, you put a pull tab on the tongue but not the heel, bad move. Put a small pull tab or loop on the heel so at the very least you can put a finger in the loop to help pull them on. Back to the zipper. It should have been placed on the inside of the shoe, meaning facing the other shoe. Everyone I know who lifts their foot to put on a shoe will, or more importantly needs to bend the leg inwards towards the groin, just how we’re made I guess. So in order to put these on you need to bend knee and lift upwards, at times not easy. Place a heel tab or loop, move zipper with a way of keeping it zipped and you’ll have a winner. Best of luck!!

I wish I loved these but I don't. These snow clogs are cool looking and comfortable but they do not offer much support. I am also finding them difficult to put on, the zipper is on the wrong side (it is on the right outside and should be on the left inside) and the tab is also in the wrong place (it is on the front and should be on the back) to help pull the shoes on. I feel that both decisions were made for aesthetic reasons, which I understand, but I think there needs to be a balance between form and function. Lastly, I think these would look better on a man. How about some fun colors like orange or white? I wish I returned them. I do not like them nearly as much as other Salomon shoes I have purchased in the past.

the boots are warm and comfortable but as other users say, the zipper comes down on its own. Also not sure why the zipper is on the outside instead of the inside. Makes it really hard to put on standing up. Also could use a loop on the back too. Nice try but needs to go back to the drawing board

Very comfortable shoes, warm and practical for winter weather. The grip is good on snow and ice, and the material feels durable. Overall I’m satisfied with the purchase.
