Runs very small
I've had my eye on the Duchess blazer for years and I'm so happy I finally got my hands on it. It is a 100% wool, made in Canada blazer. Even though it is wool, it's actually really lightweight and the fabric is breathable. You can definitely wear this year-round. The only thing is it runs very small and very slim. I normally wear a US 8 for pretty much all clothes, but I had to size up to a 12 for this jacket. I have a relatively large chest (34DDD) so even sizing up to the 10 wouldn't allow the blazer to button up. The size 12 fits perfectly though. It's definitely such an easy piece to just throw on and you'll immediately look more pulled together.

Not a keeper
Super disappointed with the fit and material quality of this jacket especially for the price. I am willing to invest a decent amount of money for a designer jacket but it has to check all the boxes and this one falls very short.

wardrobe staple
This is the second blazer I own in this style, I have it in black and now the army color. It’s definitely a splurge purchase but the quality of the design and style make it worth the price. Like most of the comments, I agree it runs small. My arms and shoulders are broad so even with going up one size, there is a slight tightness in my upper arm area. The button closes but it’s snug but I don’t typically button my blazers. By pure luck, the army blazer arrived the day I was celebrating my birthday. I wore it with jeans, a silk cami, and loafers. It can certainly be dressed up for work with slacks or over a dress. Overall this is a nice piece I’m my wardrobe. It’s pretty lightweight which makes it easy to wear year round. Makes me feel put together.

Incredible jacket
Love this jacket! Beautiful in every respect with the exception of a very tight fit around the waist. Need a different size that is not available....hope someone returns my size!

TIMELESS, Classic
I am a size 4 or 6 but in Smythe, I always wear a size 8 blazer. I tried on the size 6 in the store and it fit perfectly but I couldn't come close to securing the button. It's a size smaller in the waist then the rest of the jacket. Frustrating!
This is a beautiful, timeless blazer with flare, especially the design in the back. I ordered it in a size 8 and hopefully it will fit well. As most everyone comments, the waist is a size smaller than the jacket.

Wish the waist was one inch larger!
This is such a beautiful jacket, both in design and construction. I'm normally a size 4 or 6 in most jackets and sized up to an 8 since I knew this ran small. The shoulders fit perfectly but the sleeves were a little too long and the waist was just simply too small. Even though I never button my jackets, it just looked too snug so I returned it. If the waist was just a little big bigger, I would have definitely kept it and invested in getting the sleeves shortened because I absolutely love the design and Army green color. Very disappointing this isn't cut for the average size woman.
