What it is: A shampoo that works to both cleanse and calm unruly hair, refining and de-frizzing strands to seal in moisture and shine.
What it does: Formulated with Alpha Keratin 60ku® protein, this shampoo acts as a powerful in-shower daily smoothing treatment for the hair. It re-paves rough cuticles and tackles frizz at the source.
How to use: Work a quarter-size amount of shampoo into a lather between your palms. Apply to wet hair, massage into a rich lather then rinse. Follow with conditioner.

Where Have You Been All My Life?!
Virtue! My newest crush for frazzled and frizz-prone hair. I rotate Smooth Shampoo with Virtue's Purifying Shampoo, or I use the Purifying Shampoo with Virtue's Smooth Conditioner. A smidgen of product goes a long way, and the key for me is rotation to prevent accumulating too much product build-up on my fine, thin hair. As with any product, after I shampoo I always have to blow-dry my hair to further smooth my curls, but my hair is doing much better since I began using Virtue products.

Really works
I have used a number of the VIRTUE products for well over a year now and I believe they have really improved the condition of my hair. I am in my 50's with blond highlights. My hair is definitely softer and younger looking/behaving after a year of use. I don't feel any need or desire to rotate through other shampoos.

Weird Smell
This is an okay shampoo and it does smooth but I don't see any difference than I do with my $7 bottle of L'Oreal bond repair. The smell is really awful to me, it's something like fake blueberries and licorice? It's also very thick, so it's hard to emulsify and work into my scalp. I wouldn't say it's a bad shampoo, but it's not amazing.
