The product's name says it all
I don't normally write reviews, but this product is a miracle worker. My hair is pretty frizzy and wavy, but this product really tames my tresses. I love Aveda in general, but this is especially good. Don't hesitate to try this out. It really does straighten hair so well.

Truly awful
I've used the smooth infusion styling crËme for years but as it was discontinued I bought this instead. It went on ok but after styling and drying my hair it felt oddly soft and fluffy, not a great look. By the time my hair was dry it looked like candy floss! Truly terrible. It also felt dull, lifeless and like I wanted to wash it again. Please please bring back the original formula, it was an icon!

Awful
I eventually got round to trying this after using up the wonderful Glossing Straightener, which I had stocked up on, knowing it was being discontinued (shame!). My hairdresser told me she didn't like Perfectly Sleek very much, and she was right - it doesn't rub smoothly onto the hair, and as another reviewer has said, it leaves your hair feeling like it needs washing. I am not even bothering to use it up - I will switch to another product. A waste of money, I'm afraid.

I don't get it.
The nozzle on this bottle makes the product come shooting out instead of spraying. So when I try to spray my head, it shoots out at one spot and then comes dripping down. It's a heavy-feeling product on my hair. Maybe it's something that works over time? For me, after a week, I'm not seeing the benefit. Sorry, Aveda, I usually love all your products.

Sadly not a fan for my hair
I previously used a thermal protectant spray for occasionally blow drying and curling my hair which I absolutely loved. I saw this and hoped it would also add some sleekness to my hair but it seems to leave my hair looking greasy and flatter instead (I do have fine hair that lacks volume to begin with). It does do a great job of keeping frizziness away, but unfortunately left me disappointed and ultimately not worth it for me.

It's like Crisco for your hair
The best thing I can say is this was free, with the latest promo offer. It was like putting liquid grease in my hair. I definitely didn't have any frizz, though, so one star. Granted, I didn't have an body or bounce or movement, either. Ick.
