Smocked Waist Maxi Shirtdress

This is such a cute and fun dress! I purchased the Pink Compact color and it’s a gorgeous, warm shade. I love that it has pockets and it can be unbuttoned for a little drama! Despite the length, it works for my 5 ft frame and is very flattering. The material is flowy. This dress has great styling options – can be worn with shorts, worn over pants or used as a cover up! Can’t WAIT to wear this – will be in heavy rotation this summer!

I'm struggling with this one. It fits beautifully. Love that I can wear a NORMAL bra with this! It is slimming and the flow is beautiful and breezy. I wear a 32DD and it's not often that I find something that accommodates my chest without making me look dumpy, but the smocked waist on this is pulls me back in below the nice loose top. You can't tell from the pictures but the buttons end a little below the knees so it's a pretty generous slit. The fabric is silky polyester (and it's machine wash!) but the silky, shimmery fabric is not a great match for the casual styling of the dress. The pale pink isn't great for my skin tone but the brown was a lovely color, but it's again a weird match for the styling. I would absolutely love this in a brighter color. The length of this on me brushes the floor, so I will have to have it altered. I'm still deciding on this one.
