'50s Retro Style Hand Blender with Accessories

The color was the only thin that was nice about this product, I had done my research on the Smeg products and found that a lot of them weren't practical and were given poor reviews. This item and the toaster were the only ones that had a good review and this one was the only one that had the extra accessories. I love that Nordstrom has products like this, unfortunately as soon as I took it out it felt cheap. I am not a fan of plastic anything and this was full of it, then the handle was making a rattling noise but I made nothing of it until I went to connect it to see how it worked to my surprise it didn't even turn on. I didn't even chance it and returned it asap. The price for it seemed fair, but I rather pay more for something that isn't almost all plastic and actually works.

I love the attachments to this small blender. Sometimes in the kitchen, you do not need the full blown Kitchen Aid Mixer. This handheld beater is great to make soups on the stop, chop veggies, make smoothies and have a few containers added to store whatever you are chopping or blending. I place the blender upright on my kitchen counter, it is so pretty that it is visually beautiful too;

I bought this for the the immersion blender so I could stop using my regular blender which is not supposed to be used for warm liquids. The the SMEG device has a nice weight and a comfortable hand fit. With its variable speed and turbo button - the immersion blender offers precision and power when blending or puréeing. While that would have been enough, I love the flexibility the SMEG offers with all the various attachments. The whisk, the mini-chopper, the potato masher are all very useful. The parts that connect to the motor all clip into place with a twist. The only complaint I have is that since these parts are made of plastic it feels like the connectors will wear or break over time. I am very happy with my decision to purchase this item. My only regret was buying it in red rather than black.

Oh I love this! My daughter bought this for me in black and I love the feel and weight of it very easy to grip and use. I'm not a very good cook, but there are those family dinners we get together for several times a year and me trying to get everything out on the table at once is usually a disaster. I never have enough of what I need to get it all out, but with this it's possible. I can switch attachments without having to wash and dry one attachment to keep going. It stores so easily due to it's small size right in my drawer without taking up counter space and packs a powerful punch. So easy to clean too!
