This machine is really cute but I found it inconsistent and hard to get a good cup of espresso. It is quite manual compared to many of the other espresso machines out there. I have worked as a professional barista so it's not like I don't know how to make a latte. I kept this as a spare but recently bought a Breville Bambino and while it isn't as cute, I get a consistent and good latte from the Breville.

Is it worth it?
It’s a great entry-level machine and simple to use. Instead of the Rancillo, I wanted to go with something and compact yet cute. If you’re looking for something based purely on aesthetics, this could be the machine for you. If you’re looking for specific caliber of the machine, you’ll should consider other machines. For the price point, the espresso you extract out is average-tasting for $500 range machines. If you want closer to commercial espresso, add an extra couple hundred and get a different machine. I like the ease of use but was rather disappointed with the materials used to build the machine. If it wasn’t branded, I would say that the price point would have between a two or three hundred dollar machine. I’m happy with this purchase and love that it matches my Smeg grinder. I love the simplicity and doesn’t require too much dialing to get the taste right. If you’re a zombie before your coffee intake, this is a good machine to get your fix since you can make your espresso absentmindedly. I do want to recommend that you get a tamper mat, knock box, and solid tamper. The tamper this machine comes with is absolutely disappointing and makes you wonder why you paid the amount you did. This machine is a good purchase if you’re willing to forgo advance technological features but focus more on the simplistic ease of use, aesthetics, and average-tasting espressos. Supplementing with outside accessories will complete your coffee bar setup with style!

A used and dirty item was sent.
The espresso machine sent to me had been used. As I went through the manufacturer recommendations before using the machine to make espresso I took off the frother which had milk in it as did the rubber inner pieces. Gross.

Solid and Great looking
So far it is a joy to use, and it has performed as it was intended. Hope it lasts a long time.
