Black smeg blender
I was a little hesitant when ordering this blender based on some of the reviews I read, however, so far am very impressed and really enjoying it. I have been wanting a vitamix/ good quality blender for a while and finally decided to make the investment. This smeg blender is cheaper then the vitamix and also has a better look for my kitchen so I decided to give it a shot and happy I did. I think it works just as well as a vitamix, blends things very nice and is super cute so you can keep it out and use it all the time(health!). Also, very easy to clean which is a plus. Love it

Leaks and hard to clean
I read lots of reviews before purchasing. Most warned not to purchase, but I wanted the retro look and only wanted to make smoothies with the blender. I thought how bad could it really be.
It leaked almost every time I used it. All my ingredients wasted. Then when I tried to clean, I saw food lodge into tight, inaccessible areas in the bottom.
So I will say what the others said, don’t buy. It isn’t a good blender. It’s just cute.

Did not hold up
I bought my blender in Sept 2020. I use it almost everyday to make smoothies. While beautiful, it di not hold up. Began leaking oil and the jug also leaks even though I hand wash. Not the best choice if you will use daily.

stylish and functional
Great looking retro blender...a nice addition to my minimalistic kitchen counter. At first I wasn't sure about the plastic canister part but no worries: the blender seems to do it's job with efficiency and speed. I like the multi function controls and the ease in which the blender cleans up. So far so good...
