Small Fleming Soft Leather Bucket Bag

Ordered this bag for my daughter for Christmas in Cream. So glad to find it in stock at Nordstrom. However, when I received it today, opened the box I found a purse that was clearly used at it had been rubbed where it would make contact as a crossbody and was no longer cream at these impact points. No dust bag and crumpled up and ripped wadded tissue that was no longer crisp but the consistency of Kleenex was stuffed inside which was so gross. I am extremely disappointed in Nordstrom selling clearly used products and listing them as new. I have experienced a few of these situations and that is why, I make it a rule to purchase directly from the manufacturer in most cases, but in this case it was out of stock everywhere but Nordstrom. If you are making higher end purchases, including this mid range brand and higher, I suggest you go directly to the manufacturer if you expect it to be in new condition. Again, this is not the first time Nordstrom has delivered used products but sold them as new.
