Pure Silk Adult Pleated Face Covering

I thought I would post this review to help those who are having trouble finding the spot for inserting the nose wire, as I also struggled to figure it out at first. This mask is mulberry silk on both sides- the cotton lining is inside. The silk feels soft and wonderful against the face. The adjustable ear loops and nose wires are a must for a well-fitting mask, and this one has both. I feel the mask offers good coverage and I feel very little air leaking out the sides if I try to breathe forcefully through the mask. This is a thicker mask which feels like it offers good protection. If you are looking for something very thin and ultra breathable, you may want to look elsewhere. It suits me just fine for my grocery trips. To find the nose wire insertion point, find the top of your mask, and using both hands as I have shown in the picture, pinch the fabric together along the top towards the center until you encounter an opening. That is where you can slide the nose wire in and out. I have washed this mask a few times in the hand wash cycle of my washing machine in a mesh bag with soap made for delicates. I air dry and it comes out nice and soft. It’s expensive, but the silk is high quality and it’s nice to add a little style and luxury to help make the mask feel like it’s also a fashionable accessory, not just an annoying thing you don’t like to put on. For me, it was a good purchase!
