Two-Piece Cape Cocktail Dress

This dress was so close to perfect. I am a short, very curvy woman. I was looking for a cocktail dress that was definitely not body hugging. The dress looked beautiful on. Hid the curves, right length at the knee, light and comfortable. The issue for me was one of the lovely keyholes hit right at my cleavage, which I was comfortable showing.

This dress was perfect for a charity fund raiser or cocktail attire. The fit was perfect for someone who wanted some coverage of arms and waist. The length was perfect touching just about the knee for a petite size or shorter person. Classic style and comfortable to wear also true to size.

I liked the sheath dress however the fit was quite tight in the chest. I am a 38C and it barely fit me. The waist and length were fine. I ended up returning it because I didn’t want to be uncomfortable. I did like that the cape had places for your hands to go through and the versatility i’ve been able to wear the dress with or without the cape.

This cocktail dress is really beautiful. I had been admiring this dress for several months and finally decided to give it a try. I am very pleased. I am 5ft/137lbs and bought the size 8. The dress is a perfect fit and the cape just makes it so classy. It doesn’t need to be hemmed, go figure! I am very glad I got the black one. It can be worn to so many occasions!
