I bought this dress for a summer black tie wedding. I have a pear shape and only 5’1 so evening dresses usually need alterations. This one fit perfectly and even the length works. Right design, wrong fabric
I love the idea/design of this dress, and very much wanted it to work out, but the fabric ruins it… too poofy, “crinoliney.” If the fabric was more of a silky flow, it would have been ideal. I wanted it for a wedding and then, perhaps, a cruise. However, the stiffness of the fabric made it impossible to even consider packing and honestly, it made me look fat - and let’s just say, I am not a fat person (5’1,” 116 lbs).
