Skinny Check Silk Twill Scarf

Received scarf but a little disappointed in the packaging...it arrived in a plastic sleeve only. Planning to present this as a gift and expected to receive a Burberry box to wrap. Very unimpressed and considering returning to purchase directly from Burberry. 80th birthday gift for my mother-in-law needs to be special.

The scarf is BEAUTIFUL! I took off an extra star on the rating based on the cheap rinky dinky packaging. I expected much better qualify from Nordstrom, especially for a high-end designer item. I would have ordered this directly from Burberry, but it was sold out online and in stores. This is the second time that I ordered a designer item that was sent to me in shoddy packaging.

This Burberry scarf is lovely! The only complaint is with the packaging rather than the item. What is up with the cheap packing, though? No cute little Burberry box or sachet? This is the second time that I ordered a designer item online via Nordstrom where the packaging appears "cheap." Makes it almost appear as if I ordered a knock-off item instead of the real deal. It is authentic, just because I know Nordstrom is a licensed retailer for many high-end brands, but I am disappointed in the tacky packaging. Not what I would expect from Nordstrom.
