Simply Bare Low Back Shorts

I read reviews before I bought these and they were laughable so here is a good honest review. This is a LIGHT weight shapewear garment for a low back or open back dress or jumper. When the front is high waist and the back is low, it is hard to create the compression for firm control (that should be a no brainer). I found the shapewear aspect to be low compression, however, its do have some, and overall it smooth things out and looks much better than NOT wearing shapewear. One reviewer mentioned the "sticks" on the sides. That is called boning, and it is lightweight and actually does the job of keep the front waistline in place and not rolling down. If you are looking for shapewear that really sucks you in, this is NOT your piece, and you should likely ditch the low back outfit. It is a very good, lightweight shapewear for a low back dress that the shapewear won't peek out of. The fabric is great, very light, and it is comfortable on, even with the boning. I normally am between a small and medium but opted for the small for a little tighter fit.

When I initially tried these on, they felt great. However, I wore them for a wedding and 5 minutes in, the thighs had rolled all the way up and created a big line that could be seen through my dress. I spent the entire night fidgeting with them. I definitely wouldn’t recommend these if you have thicker thighs.

I needed a piece of Shapewear to wear with a low back dress, this did the job. I'm 5'10, 230lbs and I got a 2x. It did not provide "support" for my tummy, but it stayed up (and I have a tummy tummy). The legs rolled, but it wasnt uncomfortable and could not be seen under the dress I was wearing. I could however see this being a problem under a fitted dress. I did notice that when I took it off that the was a little hole in one of the legs, the stiching quality isn't all the nice to be honest. These are the Gen Z of shapewear, they turn up do what they have to do and that's it.
