Seamless Sculpt High Waist Leggings

So I purchased several Skims products during the Black Friday Sale and the sculpt seamless leggings is the only thing I’ve kept. Purchased 2 pair, one in onyx and one in clay. I ordered a large, however I could have gotten a medium. Sized up due to reviews. I’m normally a 6-8 in all clothes with thick thighs or an athletic build. The compression is amazing and they are super comfortable!. For reference I’m 5’5 and 140lbs. FYI, I never write reviews.

I’m 107lbs and 5’3” I usually wear a size 2 or xs in most clothes. I ordered a xs and a small in these. The sc wouldn’t go up my thighs. The small took lots of effort to pull up and squeeze into and even way harder to peel off. My thumbs literally felt like I had sprained them after taking them off. For someone who’s my height, they’re way too high waisted. The opening in the crotch is this weird useless circle. The only reason I didn’t just give it one star is that it gives your butt a nice lift. But on the flip side, I felt it made my normally flat belly look oddly rounded and unflattering. Definitely not worth even the sales price I paid for this (let alone full price) it’s going back. They need to rework this design.

Maybe I’m just not meant to wear Skims high compression shapewear. I sized up a couple sizes to a Medium, and I still couldn’t get it up past my hips. I probably could have if I tried a little longer, but I didn’t want to hurt myself now that I’m older and my shoulders hurt. Seems to be made well though.

I'm 5'9", 130 lb, 28" waist and 38" hips. According to the size chart, I would be a Small. I sized up to a Medium, and still couldn't get this up past my thighs. To its credit, it feels well made. I just can't imagine struggling to put on and wear something this small. Also, Nordstrom shipped it in a thin plastic bag mailer with no protection, so the Skims box arrived crunched up, and whoever packed it adhered the flap of the bag to the product itself.

The key to getting these on is to stretch them before putting them on. I stretch the opening in all directions and then I gather each leg with my hand inside and stretch in every direction. I stretch them fresh out of the washer, and then air dry, and then stretch again before putting them on. I’ve bought 3 pair; dark brown, black, and tan. The last 2 were on sale for $34; 50%off! On my 1st pair, I pulled a hole in the thigh and in the calf area because I was just trying to pull them up. Now with my new method I can get these on in 2 easy minutes. For reference, I am 165lbs 5’3” and large provides me with excellent support for my thighs, abdomen and lifts my butt better than any thing I have ever tried. No jiggling with these on and I wear them almost daily because they also provide great core and lower back support.
