Super cute and fun!

Doesn’t work well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For something this price, it doesn’t spin very well. Plus assembly was not easy at all. The last step with the screws provided was nearly impossible. Very disappointed with this purchase.

Straw Necessary for Assembly
The product designer flubbed up majorly on this one. I follow directions well, have a college education, and brought a buddy to help me assemble. The final step had us both cursing, sweating, and begging for queso. There is a zero percent chance we would have been able to finish assembly if it wasn't for my genius buddy who suggested shooting the tiny screws down her Stanley straw to align them properly into the pre-drilled holes. Even with this hack, I would not recommend the hassle. Buy your kid a pre-assembled plastic one in the brightest primary colors you can find. Sit back, relax, and be glad you didn't purchase this product.

Does not spin easily
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our other Gathre products and this is the most beautiful sit & spin I’ve seen, however it really does not spin. My 3 year old can barely get it going and even when I try to help it feels like it’s stuck and not gliding at all. The wooden handle is also wobbly even after making sure all screws were tightened. Sadly we never use it and wish I just spent less on one that actually works even if it’s not as cute.

not easy to use or assemble
I’ll preface this by I love Gathre, and own a lot of their products. This isn’t it though. Assembly was difficult, the directions were not clear, and I had to drill a wider hole because the holes weren’t properly placed. The center shaft is wobbly and it’s hard to get momentum on, there seems to be a lot of friction. Improvements are needed.

Poor quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Adorable of course but seems poorly made or perhaps faulty. It’s super challenging to put together and the central bar is super wobbly. We tried taking it apart and rebuilding in case we did something wrong but no it’s still sooo wobbly. Also doesn’t spin very well. I wish I’d skipped this and just gotten a cheaper brand.
