perfect foundation
This is the best foundation I have ever used! Much better than channel, Dior and other high end foundations.. absolutely love the way it looks on my dry sensitive and multicolored skin..

Breaks me out
I've definitely been loving all of the new foundations that came out this year. The Cle de Peau radiant foundation, Tom Ford, YSL fusion ink, and Dior Star (The Star was my least favourite). When I first received the Sisley foundation, I thought I hit the jackpot. It far surpassed the quality of all theo ther new foundations this year. It literally looked like a second skin with a lovely medium coverage and a satin finish. Even in my 10x zoom mirror, you could not tell I'm wearing foundation. Despite the longevity, my skin remained hydrated all day. The problem came about a weak later when I broke out very badly. I haven't had any hormonal changes or alterations in my usual skincare routine. I've been playing around with this foundation and am certain that the breakout is attributable to this foundation. It's unfortunate, because I'm not at an age where I break out easily. None of the other foundations I've tried broke me out. In fact, I've NEVER owned a foundation that broke me out. Occasionally, some skin care products have yielded this effect. So it may be the skincare embedded in this formula not reacting well to my skin. It's definitely a miss for me.

Good but not "great"
I really wanted to love this foundation. It was a perfect match, light weight, silky texture, didn't cling to any dry areas, with an added bonus that it did not bother my sensitive skin at all!!! In the morning it was gorgeous! Like real life photoshop my face! I don't have very much to cover other than a little hyper-pigmentation and the occasional acne, but still. What was sad though is right around 4 hours it would become super blotchy/ patchy all over the place. I tried it with no primer then with primer. Even combined with setting spray to try to lock it down and nothing seemed to work and I had to return it :( Don't let this discourage you from trying it out everyone's skin is different and its a OMG beautiful foundation, just sad it didn't work out for me.

Excellent coverage but.....
The lightest shade is too dark and very yellow. I LOVE Sisley products; it's my skincare of choice. I would LOVE to make it my makeup of voice but their US line if shades run too dark and too warm for my pale (NW10) complexion. This product goes on BEAUTIFULLY; smooth and creamy with amazing coverage with a tiny bit of product. It is not for those of us with very dry skin, however as it shows up dry patches even with a heavy cream under it. Beyond that, your skin looks flawless with it... just gorgeous. Due to the lack of color choice and not working on very dry skin, I had to take off 2 stars.

Not for mature dry skin
Tried my first Sisley product based on reviews and reputation to be the “best” foundation, having high hopes. My skin is mature, dry, with pores and hyperpigmentation. The first day I loved it. The next couple of times it went down hill. My pores were accentuated, it caked up and sat dry on my skin. Dry patches showed up. I was really sad. And this was after very good moisturizer.
It’s a medium coverage and dry going on. A very different formula and texture than any other foundation. I think if you have young skin this may work. Returning.

Bound to Get Compliments!
I have tried and enjoyed many other high-end products, but this one is absolutely the best! Gave me the ability to vary the coverage by adding an extra layer without looking heavy or dry. I put my make up on at 9:00 a.m. and it still looked gorgeous after a full day of shopping, dining and a concert that night! And, to top it off, my sister asked me that night at dinner what make up I used because it looked so good! She didn't even know that I had tried a new brand. The truest test of a sincere compliment!
