Intensive Serum with Tropical Resins

I will try to make this review brief, but no promises. I am a 58 year old woman who has battled with cystic acne from the moment I was pregnant with my first child. Hormones abound . . . all day every day for almost 20 years. Not dozens of small issues . . . but large, deep bumps that would hang around for weeks, sometimes months. I have tried Soolantra, Retin A, Accuatane (3 separate courses over a 4 year period), Clindamycin (topical antibiotic gel). I am a CPA (now retired) so I was very exacting and disciplined with any routine. Fresh pillow cases every night. Used a clean towel each time I washed my face. Sounds ridiculous right? Nothing worked. So . . . I am very careful with my skin. No facials. No perfumes. Mundane seemingly harmless products, e.g., Neutrogena. I estimated that once I reached and surpassed menopause . . . the hormones that had been raging for 20 years would subside. And they did . . . for a about a year. Then the war ensued once again. That lead to another "quest". Because my skin is aging, becoming less plump and more dry . . . I can no longer use the teenager products to combat my skin issues. It's been frustrating, embarrassing and disheartening to say the least . . . For those that don't like to leave reviews . . . . or don't feel as though they can leave a honest review, i.e., hurting a product's feelings. . . . I am here to tell you that reviews . . . given truthfully and constructively . . . positive or negative . . . can help someone. I searched for WEEKS . . . reading hundreds of reviews on dozens of products that could potentially help me. Cost was no longer an issue . . . because I was desperate. I discovered the reviews on this product 4 weeks ago. I ordered the product along with a few others. Once received, I use a single product for a week in my routine (in order to avoid muddying the results by using more than one new product simultaneously). Let's just say that I never opened the other 2 products. I don't know the magic behind this serum, but for my individual situation, it has calmed my skin to the point that today . . . for the first time in several months . . . . I have gone out in public with naked skin, i.e., no cover up, no make up, nothing. You can faintly see the scars from the healing, but I don't care about that . . . it's almost like a badge from my battles. (And while I understand many of you are waging battles of greater wars, i.e., cancer and other diseases . . . my words are not intended to usurp your battles . . . because I have been there as well . . . in the trenches with family.) I am merely talking about the battle of aging, acne prone skin. And while the skin chemistry of each of us is different, it is working miracles on my skin. And I am hopeful. I will agree with other reviewers in that the amount of product needed for 1 application is minute. One drop covers my entire face . . . and I use morning and night on fresh, clean skin. So that in regard, the price point for this product is absolutely dead on. (Think how how many pumps of your other "cheap" products you use . . . and then do the math.) I don't notice a fragrance and the texture of this product is a cross between a lotion and a serum. It does not feel oily (to me). All I know is that it is a true skin saver for my situation. While I am blessed in many ways, I woke up today especially happy because I can see the continued work of this product on my skin.

I’ve struggled with cystic acne since my teenage years. I’m in my 40’s now and have a combination of acne and aging. So it’s a constant battle to manage both conditions. Love adding this serum into my nighttime routine before moisturizing. I feel like my pores have fewer blackheads and my pores look a little smaller. Makes my skin feel firm. Wish this was an unscented product.

I thought I'm not going to like this product. Omg!!!! Finally, it's the one! For a week use now, it feels like my face is calm. Didnt cause irritation, no breakout, doesnt clog my pores, very light. I use this after my toner, and layer another serum after a minute. This works wonders!

I love how it is instantly absorbed and gives a slightly matte finish. It is lovely to apply, light and does not cause breakouts. I have used other serums and this one is my favourite, however it does feel expensive for what it offers. I will probably repurchase.

Great product, Apply to clean skin, morning and evening, on zones with imperfections and/or shininess.It make my face feel silky smooth and smell good. I put it on once a day when go out to protect my face from the sun. Happy with choose this cream. I would recommend this product to a friend

Finally finished using this Sisley Intensive Serum with Tropical Resins bought in last year 60-15 event. It is as good as the rest of Sisley product, helped to balance the combination oily skin, light weighted, absorbed by skin quickly and left a matte finish skin. The only reason I don't give 5 stars it's because of the fragrance is too strong. I don't know which natural extract ingredients has this strong aroma, I find it is overwhelming.
