It is not stretchy
I wanted both colors but tried the white one first. It is fairly heavy and will not secure a large square silk scarf due to the weight. I tried it with a light weight square wool scarf and the circumference was too small. By the time I got the scarf into the woggle I had snagged the fabric. The woggle added enough weight to the secured wool scarf that it felt heavy on my neck. I would have designed it so it would open somehow so as not to snag the scarf and also I would have used hollow beads. Otherwise, it's a good idea.
