Great for narrow calves
I have 13" calves and these fit perfectly. Snug but the material is stretchy. Snug enough to where they might be hard to wear over jeans - but that's OK, I only plan to wear them with tights and skirts. I'm 5'5" and these come up right to the back of my knees and have minimal bunching at the ankle. I wear an 8 and got the size 39 and they fit well. Very walkable heel.
