Perfect Dutch Owen!

Used it for baking my first bread. It turned out beautiful. I loved the color - just like in the picture - and the handles are big and wide making it easy to put in and out of oven especially at 550 degrees. Plus on color, plus on usability and plus on result. bought a 3.5, 4.5 and 5.5 not knowing which size would work best, turns out that the 4.5 was good enough. I didn't want the big 5.5 for a household of 2, thus, i recommend this size - 4.5.

cooks well.

Love it, compact and everything cooks well in it, no sticking. This size is on smaller side for 2-3 meals. I plan on getting larger one. This was a test purchase with notes. It is heavy though , too heavy fo someone who prefers light dishes.

Beautiful, high quality, super heavy

I got one in Marseille blue and it's beautiful. The heat distribution was excellent and I really like the fact that medium level heat goes a really long way (I usually need to put the stove on medium-high to high heat for my other pots). Cleaning was fairly easy as well. The only drawback for me was its weight- I am super tiny, so the first time I cleaned it, it literally felt like I was getting an upper body workout.. :)

Perfect for family of 4

I enjoy cooking in this pot, cleaning it not so much. Its heavy and if there is burnt food on the bottom, its hard to remove it. I have to watch some videos on tricks to get the burnt food out effortlessly. Other than that, it's great to cook in this, the size fits my family of 4, the thick bottom distributes the heat evenly, the cover seals tightly so the steam stays inside, and the food turns out delicious.
