Side Slit Tank

I bought this top in my normal size in the color ivory, and immediately loved it so much that I have ordered more colors. The fit is perfect untucked and also with a front half tuck. I wore a camisole under the ivory color because it is almost sheer, but I usually do that with all light colored tops. This is my new favorite!

I ordered this tank in the black- the tank will make for a great casual, throw on staple piece for my closet. However, the material is a lot more sheer than the picture makes it out to be, and the arm holes drop very low so your bra will show if you don't keep your arms down. If you don't mind wearing a tank underneath this one to cover your exposed bra and to prevent people seeing underneath because how sheer it is, then this tank is for you!

I'll only wear tops with leggings if it'll cover the crotch and butt areas, and this one covers both. I wore it and washed it in a garment bag in cold with my other clothes and hung it up to dry, and it looks exactly the same as before the wash (I find that unlike rayon/viscose, 100% polyester does not shrink). For reference, I'm 5'6" and 112 pounds and the small was perfect (the xs fits too but doesn't cover the front as well as the small).

I've not bought the tank but do have 3 of the long sleeve version. They are perfection and CAN be machine washed on delicate & hung to dry. Don't let the 'dry clean only' scare you away as it's not the case.

I could see this working for everyone! I am 5'0 with a 34d bust and sometimes these tops are hit and miss with being too tight in the bust area when sizing an xs. This works for me and falls beautifully on flatter chests as well. You can dress it up or down. I need this in other colors! It's super versatile and the side slits add a little something extra.

This tank fit so perfectly I purchased two of them, one in ivory and the other in gray--both great neutrals to go with light wash blue jeans this summer. The polyester fabric is somewhat sheer and may require a camisole (especially the ivory) but is weighty enough to flow nicely. All in all it is a great staple to have in a wardrobe and although dry cleaning is recommended I fully intend to wash by hand.
