misses the mark stitch seaming

The way the skirt flares is not flattering. The stitching seam on the left side creates noticeable bulk as if the stitch should have been pinched in a bit more . The fabric is nice . The ruching at tummy is flattering, but for the price I shouldn't feel compelled to get the skirt portion altered. I will return and hope it gets marked down in the future, which will offset the poorly shaped skirt

Perfect work dress

Love, love, love this dress. Hits low calf on me, and the slit was too long, so I had three inches of it sewn up, as it hit mid-thigh on me, but I work in a fairly conservative office, and someone with a longer lower leg might be ok. Lightweight fabric, gorgeous ruching, just the right amount of form-fitting. For a more casual look, or a lighter color, I would size up, but in the navy blue, it's very true to size. Missed the window for the olive green, and I'm not into the black, but I would absolutely purchase this in more colors if they get released.

So nice I bought it twice!

I bought this dress in navy and pink, I love the style that much. It's a lightweight material that is comfortable on the skin and the ruching makes it eating friendly. This dress can be dressed up or down. NORDSTROM: Please make this in black!
