Luxe Tie Front Cocktail Dress

Ordered in emerald, gorgeous color. I liked the fabric although it did feel different from what the picture lead me to think it was. More of like a heavy chiffon? The shape is nice and the tie was fine in the front, but a side profile looked a bit weird around the midsection. Also ran on the smaller size, will be returning because for the price it wasn’t a keeper.

I tried this dress on in the store, in white. I was looking for black or navy but wanted to see how it fit. I loved it! It fit perfectly and was comfortable. No alterations or Spanx needed, and I could wear a normal strapless bra. I’m 36x29x39 and the size 8 fit well, just a tad loose - in a flattering way (also good because fabric doesn’t stretch). I typically wear a 6 or 8 in dresses. I have another dress by Shona Joy that runs smaller than this one. This dress best suits a smaller bust and accommodates bigger hips. In white the dress seemed a bit beachy. I wish Nordstrom carried this in navy or black (it’s made in both colors).
