Beautiful but very small
This dress is gorgeous. However, not true to size or slightly small. It is barbie size. I wear a 12 in dresses. My daughter 4/6. I ordered a 12 and it looks like it will fit my daughter.

Extremely strange proportions
Dress was very well made and material was very soft. It does run a bit small. The biggest issue though wasn’t that it runs small since if that were the case you can just order a larger size. The problem that is that the proportions are completely off. It’s made for only the most flat chested of flat chested women. I ordered my usual size, a size 2, and it was slightly snug around the waist but not overly tight and zipped easily there but there was an enormous gap over the chest. And I’m fairly flat chested! I measured the garment and it measured 26” at the waist seam which is reasonable, but only 28.5” at the widest part of the chest. Not many women have a chest to waist measurements that are they close unless you are prepubertal. Returning and not bothering to buy a larger size because the waist would just end up being way too big.

Beautiful Dress
I ordered this dress for a wedding. It is a stunning dress. Material is beautiful. However it definitely runs small. I’m usually a 2-4 and I had to buy a 6. The 4 was too small in the bust ( I’m a small D cup) but the 6 was too large in my rib cage so had it slightly tailored. Now fits perfect. Well worth the hassle. I received countless compliments.

I had to send this back. It was pretty on the hangar. I ordered a size larger than I normally do because of the reviews, but it was still tight.
So I would say it runs smaller then advertised.

Perfect for petite frames
I am 5'5 115 lbs with a small chest and the size 2 fit beautifully. I saw concerns about inconsistent sizing so I ordered a size two in another color to compare; the sizing between those two was identical. I chose to keep the seaweed dress because the color is absolutely stunning. Fabric and stitching are both of very high quality and the drape and movement could not be more flattering.
