Cowl Neck Satin Gown

I bought this dress in a size 8 in the cloud color. The color was spot on, it’s an icy silver blue, but not baby blue more toward the gray family. When you walk it flows so elegantly and the cut is absolutely flattering. I would buy this in every color as long as its in stock. Five stars hands down!

I ordered the size that was available, which was too large for me, but I expect this fits fairly true to size. It is a bias cut so will cling to curves, although the lining will mitigate too much definition. The neckline was higher than I expected. The fabric was a heavier polyester than I expected and I’m not fond of polyester to begin with. As mentioned, it was lined in polyester, which certainly helps the dress hang in a more flattering way, but would make the dress overly warm in the summer, in my opinion.

It was the perfect dress for a wedding in Jamaica. I did size down from a 12 to a 10. The 10 fit perfectly with no alterations needed. It was also very helpful that I could tighten the straps so I have proper coverage in the bust area. I bought this dress in 2 colors because it was such a perfect fit. I’ll be wearing it all year round.
