What it does: With sheer-to-medium coverage, this long-wearing creamy powder foundation synchronizes with your skin to help it resist heat, humidity, oil and motion. Blendable, buildable and smudge-proof, your skin looks and feels fresh all day long.
How to use: Apply wet or dry for a smooth, refined finish that resists sweat, water, humidity, creasing and transferring. To apply wet, dampen the sponge with water and squeeze out any excess. Use the black side of the sponge to pick up a small amount of product and apply evenly by pressing onto the skin. To apply dry, use the white side of the sponge to pick up a small amount of product. Apply from the center of your face and sweep outward, building additional coverage by tapping over areas where extra is needed.

Best powder foundation for my dry skin...EVER!
I am so amazed at this powder! It stays on all day. It makes my skin look beautifully smooth (I am 54). At the end of the day it looks as fresh as when I first applied it. I do use Dior Dreamskin Fresh & Perfect Cushion Broad Spectrum SPF 50 underneath it. This combination is beautiful together. I am also amazed that my skin does not feel dry with this powder on it. The search is finally over!!! And it is a wonderful feeling!:)

Not Impressed
I used Shiseido Advanced Hydro Liquid Cream Foundatoon along with The Makeup Perfect Smooth powder foundation. This is nothing like that. I have Never found any other foundation that worked as well. I returned this compact and hope you decide to bring back the discontinued makeup. Otherwise you lost a loyal customer for 15 years.

I do love the product! It does well for my skin but I was disappointed when I received it through delivery! When I opened it the lower was cracked and broken into pieces! I typically get make up through delivery and it’s well packed but this time it was a mess! Awful! It’s was annoying! Ty

Pleasantly surprised
As an older woman, I was hesitant to try a powder foundation. I'm surprised that I love it! I wear it alone over a good moisturizer (one that has hyaluronic acid or glycerin). Once the moisturizer has dried I use a velour powder puff to press it onto my skin. The puff in the compact is ok too. I have dry, 66 year old skin, use the Self-refreshing foundation in Cashmere, but for me it is overload to use the powder with the liquid foundation. The powder may be too drying in the winter, but in the humid summer where I live, it's perfect. Lasts most of the day. I don't mind a few touch ups during the day. The compact is nice and thin, but as others have mentioned, they should offer refills! Otherwise a great powder.

I do Buy this product over and over again
I have used this powder foundation for several years. I love the matte finish and it covers all of my flaws. So easy to put on. After moisturizing I just use the sponge and cover just once all over my face. It's perfect.
