Facial Cotton

After reading glowing reviews at a beauty review website, I thought could department store cotton be any better than a "top of the line (most expensive)" drugstore cotton? Very reluctantly I purchased this and I'm not on the fence any longer. This cotton is excellent at absorbing whatever product you are applying. I often cut them in half and am consistently amazed that I need only one to remove all of my eye makeup. So effective, smooth, soft and never leaves a trace of cotton fibers anywhere. Now, so I will never be without, I purchase two at a time. Excellent product and well worth the money!

I normally purchase the Clé de Peau Beauté Cotton, which is $20 for the box... But I decided to try out Shiseido, which is quite more cost effective at only $9.50 for the package of 165 Cotton Squares....and they are of equal, if not superior quality.... They are super soft - completely luxe and gentle... And the size of the cotton squares is generous.... **Definitely Repurchasing AND Recommended**

For removing eye makeup these are fantastic - because the texture does not pull at the fragile skin around my eye area. Never before had I imagined that normal drugstore cotton pads were not adequate for this purpose until I purchased myself a pack of these. Now I use only these to remove mascara, eyeshadow and eye SPF, and have absolutely zero redness or irritation which I used to experience quite often with normal cotton pads. I don't use these for the rest of my face as they soak up a lot of the micellar water I use and I can find myself going through a bottle much faster. For other areas I just stick to regular drugstore cotton rounds. The other use I have for these is when I have a troublesome patch - rough/dehydrated area or acne mark. I simply cut the pad down to size required to cover the area, soak it with the right watery serum for the purpose and place it over the area. I’ve been buying these for years and instead of raising the price to keep the quality up, Shiseido has suddenly made these so thin (like literally half as thin) as to be unusable. They disintegrate when wet with Micellar water and it takes at least 2-3 pads instead of one for eye makeup removal. I won’t buy this brand again. For the price don’t waste your money!
