'The Runwell' Bracelet Watch, 36mm

I spent lots and lots of time researching options for my next watch. I settled on the Shinola Runwell 36mm because of it's retro/clean design and because of the American made quality. I was looking at watches that were three times as expensive but I found that I would be paying for a brand name and it would be make poorly in some far off country. I like the fact that I have a watch that is not only assembled in our country but helping to create US jobs. This watch not only has a good design but it feels very substantial. I am not a very girly girl and this watch I feel can take what I throw at it on any given day, from workouts to dog washes to cooking and beyond. I chose to purchase this watch from Nordstrom instead of directly from Shinola in case I had any issues I felt confident in knowing I could walk into a Nordstrom and it would be taken care of with no issue. Fantastic purchase!

My husband bought me this watch for a milestone birthday. It is a classy watch with a beautiful mother-of-pearl face. The watch is of high quality and craftsmanship and I really love it. The watch is from Detroit (yes in the US) with materials sourced in the US. I am proud he picked this one over all of the rest that are made elsewhere and sold here. I encourage all to support their country with this product and other products from Shinola. You will not regret it.

I own a number of high end watches and to be honest I did not need another watch. However, this watch caught my eye. I have been trying to purchase things made in the USA and this fit the bill. It is beautiful. In the first day I bought it, I had at least 5 people stop me to ask about where I got it. Two grabbed my arm to get a better look. It is subtly attractive, easy to wear, and really makes a statement. Who could ask for more.

I purchased this watch about 8 months ago and haven't gone one day without wearing it since! It is the perfect classic watch: mother-of-pearl face, silver and gold bracelet band, medium-sized face. I am a petite person with narrow wrists, yet this watch looks great without overpowering my frame. The pictures of it are pretty accurate, especially the one showing it on the woman's wrist. If you are looking for a high quality, wear every day to work watch, I highly recommend this watch.

OK, will be the first to admit this was an impulse buy ... well, kinda sorta. Wanted a 36 mm face watch for some time and had settled on another less expensive one until seeing this one. In fact, at the checkout counter. The adorable Nordstrom rep answered all of my questions and added "how much they love the Shinola story!" She told how it was made in the US - Detroit - and how Swiss watchmakers were brought to the company to teach their fine quality workmanship. I don't know if they brought in someone from Paris to influence its fashionable design, but it is rich, stunning and simply beautiful! Love the stainless steel/gold mix in both its face and bracelet band. Nothing tech-y about it, either. It is a straightforward watch, the simplicity of which sells it as a classic. Am becoming more and more concerned about buying products that are US made and willing to invest a bit more in quality to get it. THIS company is quality through and through! The presentation box itself is a work of art, as well. Finally, Nordstrom should take note of their outstanding sales personnel who truly sold me this watch. I'm a longtime sales professional and admire colleagues who believe in their products and help consumers - like me - make great choices! You simply cannot go wrong with this watch purchase. It's gorgeous, practical and an eye-catching fashion piece! I love, love, love it!!
