What it does: Its technology allows for the high-density incorporation of tiny particles of real pearl into the color pigments, creating a crease-proof consistency. The refill is designed to fit customizable, refillable palettes.

Great eyeshadow and color
I was buying the small palette and was going to pick up a couple of colors. Based on a previous review of "malachite", I decided to try that color. Our coloring is about the same, and anybody buying that many items at one time on the outside chance it might be discontinued had to have something. I wish I could thank her, because she is absolutely right. I was scared to death when I saw it in the pan because it looks almost black. When you get it on - takes practice and the right brush to get it light enough - it seems to be the perfect color! It looks neither blue, nor green, but is such a better option for eyes that have a little of both colors. Nothing else I have tried has looked this natural. I may have to order back-ups as well. I agree about the shine being unlike most frosted shades. I've been looking for matte shades, but these are better. There is a lot of product in each pan. I have had the big palette for years and each pan lasts and lasts. I can't tell you how long it lasts because the make-up police would be knocking on my door because I have had it too long.

Sorry, folks, I bought the malachite after reading the good review. I returned it to the store. The color would not apply evenly with lid base or without. It just looked black and all the glitter stayed in the container. I had to remove it all and start over, I looked like a raccoon.

Perfect shade of green
I love this color and brand! I have been looking for a green shade for some time and it is always either too dark or too brownish. But this one is just right! The shimmer to it adds a pop to the eyes as a matte green can make the eyes look tired. Pair this with the "perle" shade.

Love this eye shadow
This eye shadow is absolutely the best, and the color Malachite, I get lots of compliments on, when I wear it. It looks good on every skin for a evening dark green blue smoky look, and I also wear it in the day and it always sets off my blue eyes. I've never seen anything like it, in any other brand. One thing I like about Chantecaille products is that they don't discontinue them all the time, so if you like one of their products you usually can find it again, but I ordered six of these eye shadows just to be safe!

Very nice color
Blended well with other colors and lasted a good amount of time. Texture is silky smooth. I can see this as becoming my go-to color as a basis for daily wear.

Shine and glow!
I love Chantecaille's 'Shine' eye shade in Pyrite. It has just a hint of shimmer that looks beautiful on women of all ages. It gives me an understated glamor that is a signature my style. I would not leave home without it!
