Sheryl Floral Appliqué Midi Cocktail Dress

I’ll start with the good: The flower design against the black background is gorgeous. Now the bad: The cut of the dress is a horrible design. I’m 5’4”, 122 lbs, 32A in the chest. I could barely get the size small on. Once I did, I couldn’t figure out how to position it due to the odd cut/design. It was extremely tight in the butt, hips, and waist, yet absurdly large in the chest and shoulders. Yes, I’m small chested, but this was HUGE. However, in spite of the abundance of material in the upper part of the dress, it was impossible to lift my arms due to the sleeve design. The highest I could go was elbows at chest height (almost). I didn’t try to sit in the dress because I’m certain it would have ripped. Walking and breathing were hard enough. This dress is definitely being returned. It’s a shame, because the floral design is beautiful. If the applique could be put on a different style dress that’s more functional, flattering, and comfortable, the dress would be stunning.
