Major improvement from my previous 5355 model
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Much better shave than my previous model (5355). The app is a ridiculous concern about the perfect shave time—still a much slower process under the nose and chin. End process after shaving, provides a much closer/smoother shave than my previous model.
Appreciate the monitoring of shaver head and cleaner life, provided from the app.

Written instructions in the manual provided are
awful, online in the app or via support are worse.

Okay so far
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Much slower than shaving with a blade, but I'm no longer cutting my face to ribbons - old, thin skin. I don't have a smart phone. The little brush is helpful for cleaning out the cuttings but It should be orange or red to be seen in the carry case. I'll see how long the shaver continues to function.

Clean safe shave
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband has essential tremors and shakes badly. This shaver has been a blessing. He can’t get it to run continually. It stops after a minute and has to be restarted. Can’t figure out why. I’ve cleaned it under running water but still not working smoothly. Help!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had my previous shaver for some 20 years- which was also Phillips.
This one is simply amazing. From the Bluetooth features of it communicating with you.
To charge - clean or otherwise.
But the real key element of this shaver - is the close shave that it gives. Simply stated A-M-A-Z-I-N-G…

Good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shaver cuts close without the irritation like other shavers. It's even on Bluetooth for battery monitoring.

Three areas of Correction or Improvement are need
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It functions sort of.
1sr. The front porch on the shaving head for each of the three cutting elements makes it very almost impossible to trim below the nose and above on the upper lip, I've not complimentary comments of what the upper lip reminds people of. They need to get rid of that front porch that is approximately 10 m deep and 20 millimeters long.
2nd, the height of the cutting elements is only one millimeter taller than the front porch which does not Aid and trimming beard and hair on the neck both sides of my Adam's apple I usually need to go with a big disposable and do a dry shave to trim those areas as it does not seem to be able to cut those, the recently obsoluted model 3900 does a significantly better job in those areas and the cutting edges seem to be holler from the protected Shield around the edge.
3rd, I am severely disappointed with the lack of a compartment to trap the shavings that have been cut. The older 3900 had more of a catch bin for the trimmings then this new i-9000, it seems it piles up on a platform and build up into the cutting blades.
4th, is there a way to turn off or disable the sense IQ, because I have used Norelco shavers long enough that I still remember the shaver going through the snow with the three heads as if it were a sled, the circular motion is ingrained in me that that's the only way that I know how to shave, unfortunately because of the low profile of The Cutting Edge in the front porch that pushes down the beard and not letting it cut that requires multiple passes and directed One Direction cutting in order to get as much as I can trimmed.
On the hall the charging element works great the battery indicator is good and the full indicator for the trimmings is always going off, so it functions as expected. Would I recommend this or the Platinum Series....... I don't know I think I would recommend a lower-end model that does not have the front porch on all three cutting areas and that actually has a space under the cutting areas to catch the trimmed beard remnants.
