Shaping Heat Spray Dry Heat Protection Spray

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a heat protectant styling spray designed for dry hair - so don’t use it to blow dry, just use it before straightening or curling. While I appreciate that it’s designed specifically for dry hair, it does limit its function a bit. So if you need to blow dry, you’d have to apply a different heat protectant and then apply this one before curling. It’s not the end of the world if this is used outside of wash day. I also like that it can be applied to the roots since some heat protectants are too thick or heavy to apply there (which would defeat some of the purpose). I have straight, fine, thick density hair that doesn’t hold a curl very well. Unfortunately, this didn’t do a great job holding my hair in place without additional products. Maybe if your hair is easier to style this would be enough, but this is just not designed for my hair type. The scent isn’t my favorite, but it’s not a dealbreaker. I would avoid if you are sensitive to fragrance or scents though since it’s quite strong. If your hair holds a curl well and you don’t mind strong fragrance, maybe this will work better for you.
