Shape with an Edge^® High Waist Thigh Slimmer

I am a slender woman with a definite "mommy pooch" after birthing 3 kids. Other expensive shapewear I've tried didn't suck in that tummy the way I wanted. I got this for an upcoming family wedding I'll be attending and it provides that extra firm tummy control I was looking for. Not easy to wriggle into, but once it's on, it's decently comfortable (for shapewear...this is special occasion wear for me not something I'd want to wear frequently). I ordered my normal size (small). I am really happy with this purchase because it gives me the silhouette I was looking for in my dress without me having to do months of major abs workouts! I'd recommend if you are looking for FIRM tummy pooch control and a smooth silhouette under a dress

I purchased these in the correct size, according to the sizing chart. They fit great and were fairly comfortable for shapewear - I could breathe, sit easily, and they didn't roll down. However, after the second wear, I removed them to see they were falling apart and looked snagged at the seams. I did not put these through a washing machine (they were delicately hand-washed) and considering I bought the correct size, I can only blame the product for being poor quality. I know these are not Spanx priced, but at $55, I still expected them to hold up for more TWO wears.

I am a 2x (18/20) in most clothing brands and in all my shape wear. I decided to purchase a 3x in this item just in case it ran small. Unfortunately, this shape wear in particular runs very small. I cannot get this item past my hips. Although the material is of good quality and I know it would have been great if it fit, it doesn’t fit by at least 5 inches around my hips, and waist. That is truly disappointing. I highly recommend measuring yourself and looking at the sizing guide to purchase the correct size so you’re not disappointed. I will be returning this item and sticking with the shape wear that fits true to size and is of the same or better quality.
