I love this dress!
I bought this dress even though the reviews were not that positive. I am bigger in the chest with a more athletic build (Also 5”9”) and it fit perfect. Beautiful dress and cannot wait to wear it to my son’s graduation from law school. The zipper was smooth and I do not need any alterations.

Beautiful (in theory)
I loved what this dress was supposed to be. However, the cut is very strange, and I found similarly strange cut in another dress of this brand. It was very loose in the mid-section and created a lot of bulging, wrinkled fabric when zipped. Also, the hip area was too tight even though the waist was huge. I wanted this work but returned it due to the very off cut.

not for petite
Sizing was just off for me. Tight in the hips and the zipper bulged in the back and really loose up top. It looked very flattering from the front but from the side and back just didn’t work. I tried on a 14 and 16 and I’m typically a 14. 38 bust, 36 waist, 47 hips. I think a 12 would be too tight in the hips.

Not for the bustier woman
I loved this dressed and the quality was perfect. As with a lot of dresses though I have a tough time at the bust area. It was just too tight. I am a 38DD. I wish they sold a bigger size as I would most definitely have bought it and had it altered.

Not for shorter ladies
I am barely petite at 5'4 and I agree with a previous reviewer, this just did not work for me. I am not particularly top heavy, just small all over and this dress stuck out oddly in the back and along the sides. Very pretty fabric if the cut works for you.
