Metallic thread is actually metal
I have never ordered Sferra but assumed it is of superior quality so imagine my surprise when this pillow arrived with a thread along zipper seam starting to pull out and seam starting to pull apart. I also didn't think metallic thread would be actual metal but this is. Metal beads almost. So to me it would be purely decorative as I wouldn't want to put my face on this. It is extremely cute though and the embroidery is top quality. It makes a cool sculpture for the sofa at Halloween if that is what you want.
