this is the real deal
I was hesitant like everyone else and it’s true you need this pillow case! My hair is no longer breaking or getting tangled. It also helps keeping my head cool. With hot flashes I need all the help I can get. A reviewer posted a photo of her getting polyester case well am pretty sure someone return a case and kept the real thing. As you can see from my pillow case picture it says 100 silk. I am ordering a pink one for my 4 year old as every morning I struggle with her hair getting tangled and she does not like it.

Not sillk as advertised - polyester
I ordered this silk pillowcase Sept 2020 for $89. When I opened it and touched the fabric, I noticed that it felt very scratchy, so I looked at the tag...which said 100% polyester. Not sure if I was sent the wrong pillowcase in error, or if this is just a very cheap product being marketed deceptively. The box looked like the box on the website, and was packaged nicely. Will be returning for a refund.

beautiful until it falls apart
My mom and I have purchased at least three of these pillowcases now. None of them have lasted more than a year. All of them have fallen apart. The one in the photo for this review is ripping apart at the seams along the zipper. The look and feeling of these pillowcases is absolutely beautiful, but the price does not justify them considering their lack of longevity.

Cute Print, Poor Quality
I was really excited about the print of this pillowcase, but the quality is so poor. Amazon has better silk pillowcases for a fraction of the cost that have held up much longer than this one. Unfortunately after only a few washes, the silk has ripped away from the zipper and because of the material it cannot be repaired. (See photo.) Will not buy again.

Not sure about this product
I recently purchased a queen sized white Slipsilk Pure Silk Pillowcase from Nordstrom and was excited to receive my product in the mail today. However, upon opening the slip box I had some immediate concerns about the product I received. The quality of the pillowcase was not at all what I expected. The product its self feels like cheap course satin and not at all like silk. Also, the pillowcase does not have the "slip" logo embroidered anywhere on the pillowcase as shown in every product picture I saw online while doing product research prior to my purchase (Nordstrom website, social media posts and blogs, info videos and the Slipsilk product website). Additionally, there is no tag detailing care instructions sewn on the inside of the pillowcase as advertised. In fact, there is no tag to be found anywhere at all on the product that certifies its authenticity. I'm wondering if anyone else has received a pillowcase in the same condition?

It ripped
I purchased this from Nordstrom in 12/2018 and came back to purchase another because mine started to have a hole near the zipper months ago which has progressed to a giant tear. I saw other reviews related to tearing. I agree with the other reviewers it is beautiful to sleep on but purchasing a $90 pillowcase yearly might be a bit much.
