Seafaring Waterproof Linen & Cotton Hooded Coat

This coat offers mostly-natural fabric, deep pockets and hood, ample coverage. For anyone wondering, Inkwell is very dark blue which is a nice change from black (and it looks great with black clothing). I haven't been out in a downpour yet, but for rainy days it provides protection from the elements while looking stylish. I'm glad I upgraded my rain gear with this coat.

This coat is black. I interpreted "inkwell" as navy blue. [Wrong.] It has an inner and outer layer and I found it too heavy for my intended use: to keep me protected from the sun during summer weather. It is one seriously sturdy coat that would be at home aboard a ship in the midst of a gale or protecting you as, head down, you make your way to the Tube, subway or parking lot/car park.

Perfect raincoat for a Scotland vacation. Kept me warm and dry. Love that it’s cotton. I’m usually a 10/12 but an 8 fit well with room for a sweater. I have an hourglass shape, so it’s hard to find a jacket that isn’t too big up top but still zips around the hips. This one definitely hit the mark!

I got the Seafaring in navy, a size 4, I am typically an XS, and it fits perfectly. I am 5'2" and the length is so cute how it hangs in the back. It is made very well to the feel, but I haven't tried it out in the rain, yet. Seasalt Cornwell is known for their raincoats, so I'm not worried, just excited for the rain now.
