What it is: A smoothing, hydrating lipstick infused with hyaluronic acid for lips that look glossy and plumped, in limited-edition sea-turtle packaging.
What it does: This hybrid lip color combines the rich, even coverage of a lipstick with the high-shine and plumping effects of a gloss. It goes on with an incredibly soft, lightweight texture as it helps to smooth and firm the lips. Added collagen gives lips a boost, leaving them fuller and decidedly more youthful in appearance while never irritating.
How to use: Apply directly to the lips. Start in the middle and work the color outward.

A review of 3 colors
Starflower in the Turtle collection is very shiny and sheer, a pretty neutral brown rose. Rosea in the same collection is a more opaque rose (duh, who would have known). And I bought Baobab, which is a regular lipstick with moisturizing properties. More or a warm rose color. Overall, I do like the Starflower the best although I wish it were a tad less "shiny". Its definitely more of a lip gloss than balm and it smells very nice. Rosea is too pink for me and I'll be giving to a friend. I'm going to try to work with the third color mentioned; maybe blot it for a less "orange" color. I do love Chantecaille lip colors; also fell in love with a color called Amour and just bought a second. For me to repeat buy any makeup is pretty astonishing, and especially a lip color that costs 50 bucks.

it's ok as a lip balm
I ordered two shades, Ginger Lily on me was like a clear gloss. Rosea gave off more color, just the wrong color for me. It's too pink for me.
I wore Rosea on an outdoor walk, one hour with no talking or eating, and the lip chic had faded away. It is moisturizing just not enough color or longevity for me.

Beautiful Pink
Coral Vines is a perfect pink shade. Not too light and not too dark. I wasn’t sure about it at first because I love baby pink shades but this brightens my face after I put it on and that’s what lipstick should
do. And it’s for a good cause which is a plus!

Beautiful Product-shame it's so expensive!
The Chantecaille lip chic formula is one of my favourites. It feels like a nourishing lip balm which is easy to apply but is hydrating and gives a pretty effect. I do like the limited edition collections with their change of packaging as it keeps the makeup fun. I have Ginger lily which is a lovely coral colour. Shame it's so expensive though-the prices go up every year!

Beautiful Seasonal Color
I have both the Coral Vine and Ginger Lily shades and wear them both in the spring and summer due to their pigments. These are not sheer on me and have staying power for several hours while also moisturizing. Such a smooth application too. Favorites of all my Chantecaille products but honestly love so many of their line.

lovely
Brought this in ginger lily, which is a lovely vibrant colour. The packaging is beautiful , looks lovely on your dresser or in makeup bag .Glides on and there is a good colour payoff . But the only thing i have to say is that it does not last on me and i need to keep reapplying . But apart from that it is great.
