Body shape: Waist narrower than shoulders and hips

Material clingy
I really wanted to love this dress but I ordered the lighter color and the fabric is too clingy. Even with a bra I could see the outline of my nipples. Its like it took every single lump, bump, and ridge (I.E. anything not smooth) and highlighted it. The fabric felt thick, in a good way, so maybe black would be fine but the lighter color is not for anyone that isn't totally secure with their body. It was also somehow baggy and still did all that which is kind of amazing. I think it's supposed to be loose so I marked it true to size anyway but just be warned.

Not for me
It’s not for me. It clings to the body and doesn't hide anything so if you’re not trim it’s not flattering. I have similar ones from Michael Kors and All Saints that hide everything. On the other hand, if you are trim, it’s soft and would likely be flattering.

Great dress!
This is a very well-made dress. I bought a small which is my usual size but it's a bit boxy so I'm going to order an extra small to see if I like that fit better. I love it. It has pockets. The mock neck hangs very well. The length is a little long on me because I'm 5'4", but I don't think I will get it hemmed, I can see wearing it with tennis shoes of boots!
