It is a slim fit design.

Disappointingly poor quality
One star - ordered online: the fit is as expected, and the look of the coat is as expected also. The quality is very poor: the cuffs were puckered and uncomfortable where the finish was simply not “finished”, the lining was baggy and fitted the coat poorly, and lastly for the extra $100 paid versus the base peacoat model from Schott NYC, the coat was thin and probably not very warm. Disappointed.

Buy it for looks, not for warmth
Great fit, but a few aspects of this coat made it a three-star buy for me. First, the slightly chintzy lining is a turn-off. It's a noisy cotton-poly blend that doesn't slide easily over shirt sleeves. Second, the lack of an inner button to make this double-breasted jacket hang correctly is a problem. Finally, the wool blend used for the coat is not warm--for temperatures under 40° or so it needs more layers underneath than will fit considering how slim the jacket is. I'm still giving this three stars since the fit is so flattering, but I was hoping for more considering the brand and the price point.

Bad Fit, Narrow Shoulders
The shoulders, like many Schott garments, are cut comically narrow. It's especially pronounced in this jacket, but sizing up doesn't really work (as it would make the jacket super long).

Meets high expectations
I love the look, feel, and fit of this peacoat. I'm excited to wear it during colder months for years to come. It isn't as heavy or thick as the regular fit Schott peacoat, but it's plenty warm and even comfortable. I'd absolutely recommend, especially at the sale price.

Nice coat. True to size and fit. Looks nice in person. I'm 5'10" 185 lbs, 40" chest and ordered a medium. I ordered the Navy and it's very dark almost black. Perfect. I had an older Schott and tried other brands but there's nothing like a Schott peacoat.
