Café Racer Oil Tanned Leather Moto Jacket

I bought this Schott 530 after trying the 654 (shiny, lined cafe racer). I tried both L and XL (654) but ending up returning them because the fit just wasn't right. I'm 6'4" and weigh about 205 lbs. The XL was just huge all around and the large fit well around the chest and sleeves but the midsection was too wide. Anyway, I returned them to the store and ordered this one (530) in large. Upon unpacking it, I noticed a huge difference in the quality of the leather. The 654 is nice but it's definitely a lightweight leather and the leather is shiny. By contrast, this one is a medium weight but the leather is super supple and soft. I found it to be a lot more fitted all around. The chest area fits snug but not tight. The sleeves are even more fitted than the 654 because they include a leather flap that folds when zipped up. It is also more fitted through the midsection. Overall, compared to the 654, and even to other cafe racers that I tried, this jacket is slimmer. If you have an athletic or slim physique, this jacket accentuates your body better. I mentioned that the leather is supple and soft. But I also want to emphasize that the quality of this jacket is far superior than the quality of other more expensive jackets. Honestly, I didn't find anything comparable to the fit, quality, and craftsmanship of this jacket. Add the fact that it's made here in the USA, and for me this is the best cafe racer.
