Left my roots stiff and gross.
Definitely not for me. I had received a sample with a previous order. I applied a little to my scalp at night. Felt like I loaded up product on my roots and it needed washed again! Very gross. My hair is usually very shiny and soft. There was no shine. It was almost stiff and was very unmanageable. Could not even style my hair well.

Good for scalp
An excellent product that renews the scalp and has a positive effect on hair. First, it makes the scalp cleaner and the hair stays clean and fresh longer. Second, this product renews the scalp and allows new hair to grow, so the hair grows faster and does not lose its thickness, which becomes important with age. The application method is simple - at night along the partings. The smell is pleasant, slightly herbal.

Non greasy formula
I am excited to see if this serum will help with my dry scalp. After only 1 use, I was happy to see that it did not leave my long hair greasy or irritate my sensitive skin.

helped my dry scalp heal

Moisturizing and not oily
First time trying out Aveda. Received a sample for their Scalp Solutions Overnight Renewal Serum. It's light, has an orange tint, and surprisingly not oily. Very nourishing for my scalp and did not make my hair oily! Not scented or barely. I would consider purchasing this after the sample is finished but it is a bit pricey so will have to wait for my next splurge. I use about 1ml per use and massage it into my scalp when I wash my hair.

Soothes itchy dry scalp
my scalp is really dry, red, sensitive and itchy. I haven't been using this product for long but it INSTANTLY soothes the itching and irritation. My scalp is less red when I wake up the next day. It's also a serum and not an oil so it dries and doesn't weight my hair down, which is also really good because I have fine hair. I'm hoping it'll help long-term, and treat the dryness altogether. But even If it doesn't, I'd still continue to use this product for short term relief of itchiness.

Keeps my scalp helthy
