Lysa Quilted Hooded Longline Coat

Love this coat! It fits so well and has kept me warm even in 20F windchills. It's pretty lightweight but warm and I love the length, the color, and the feel. I also really like the high neck bec it means I don't have to wear a scarf all the time and the zipper pockets on the outside. There's only 2 design flaws that I wish they'd fix: 1.) A drawstring around the hood. The hood is giant, which is great, but if it's windy out, it doesn't stay up and you can't tighten it because there's no drawstring. So just note that you still need to wear a hat with this coat on breezy days. 2.) There's no inside pockets and there's so many spots where they could have easily sewn one in.

I am sad that this coat didn't work for me as I loved the look of it, but returned for two reasons: (1) two days after purchase there appeared to be stuffing coming out of a seam on the sleeve which concerned me about the quality, and (2) it is very lightweight which is nice for lack of bulk and looking nice, but felt just warm enough on a 35 degree day which didn't bode well for Jan/Feb in Chicago when it can be 20-30 degrees colder than that. I was hoping to get the same feel as my waist length Save the Duck jacket which is super warm (just needed to cover my legs in colder months), but this seemed too light for coldest winter weather. Fits true to size, I am usually a medium and the medium was perfect, could zip easily with a sweatshirt under it without being too oversized.

I purchased the red one to wear to football and hockey games, and it has kept me warm and dry. The first time I wore it, it rained the first 15 minutes of the football game. I never got wet or cold, and I was comfortable for the rest of the game. No need to wear a clear poncho over your outfit! I am 5"9 and 165 pounds, and it fit true to size. The coat got compliments from men and women, young and mature.
