Sausalito Cardigan

I really want to love the sweater, because it’s cut well, fits well, is warm and soft, goes with so many things. But it has pilled so terribly since I bought it it looks like it’s about 10 years old. Sweater shavers don’t really help. It’s probably too late to bring it back at this point. For $148 I expected better quality.

I'm glad there are still sweaters that aren't hugely oversized with a drop shoulder. This sweater fits just as pictured though it runs a bit large. I'm either a small or medium, and the small fits perfectly. The knit is very soft and almost fluffy; cozy and warm without bulk or weight. The buttons appear to be shell, and there's an extra button sew to the care label. I've only worn it over a button-down so I can't say for sure that it isn't itchy, but I can't imagine such a soft feeling knit would be itchy.
