Upper: Breathable, high-strength mesh lets air circulate while keeping rocks, roots and other trail debris at bay. Forefoot rock guard helps protect toes against stubs, bumps and other trail mishaps. Padded collar helps secure dynamic lockdown that moves easily without getting loose.
Midsole Drop: 4mm. Classified as a low-drop measurement, it encourages shorter strides to help improve running cadence.
Lower: PWRRUN cushioning absorbs shock and promotes even landings on uneven surfaces. PWRTRAC multidirectional tread keeps every stride confidently grounded for distraction-free runs.

Ice and Snow everywhere? These combat that.
I bought this show specifically for the ice and snow we had for 6 weeks in New York City. It worked great. Had no problems going over ice and snow in sub-freezing temperatures. Also, because they are not ventilated, my feet stayed warm and dry in single digit temperatures. These are not shoes that are going to be used as rockets out of the gate, but they are super stable and helped me recover with the tendinitis I was dealing with at the time. Of course, the price was right too.

Giving me bad blisters on my heels where my other shoes do not. This is the second set of Saucony trail shoes which have failed me. Can't trust these, do not recommend.

Solid shoe, boring colors
Seems like a solid shoe. I like the lugs on the sole, gives good traction in snowy winter weather on the trail where I run. The front of the shoe appears to have some kind of waterproof coating, which prevents those little drops (that kick up from your toe when you run on wet ground) from soaking into your toes. Overall, I like it. Minus one star because not many color choices

BEST running shoe I have ever had
I used to run in Saucony Hurricane's, years ago, which were my all time favorite running shoes. I ran a few marathons, and put so many training miles into my shoes that I clearly knew my FAVORITE SHOES. I recently purchased my first pair Peregrine TR15's (Wide model) and WOW they are my new favorites. Light like my old Hurricanes, and yet fit my foot so well. The TR15's have just the right amount of cushion for long runs with out being too soft or bouncy. Now these are simply the "Best running shoe I have ever owned!!!"
