review is for the state of the delivery
This is a great item. The item by itself is an absolute 5/5. However it arrived barely wrapped in plastic with NO Mont Blanc box or linen bag as expected and for $340 it was a horrible way for a gift to arrive1 bouncing around in a huge box by itself with NO packaging. I ordered the matching wallet which arrived from a different store and was 5/5 with linen bag and Mont Blanc box. Part of what you purchase with an item like this is how it is packed and delivered. Nordstrom, do better. There is no other way to talk to a human about this. Absolutely unacceptable. Giving these together as a gift, I just had to make fun of Nordstrom to the recipient and package it myself. Very disappointed.
