Vitale Ankle Strap Pointed Toe Pump (Women)

The sweetest lil' heel! I can hands down say these are the most comfy heel I have ever worn. I have substantial nerve damage and abnormal range of motion in my right foot due to extensive surgeries and had honestly given up at trying to find any sort of dress shoe(s) in general. The Sarto line has absolutely wowed me with their comfort and elegance. Purchased during the Anniversary sale this week, came back today to buy it in 2 more colors. I have spent my whole adult life trying to find shoes for work that made me feel as polished as my coworkers that I could also correctly walk in without being in pain...at 36, I have finally found a pair. Thank you Sarto line, thank you Nordstrom for carrying.

I usually wear size 7 in shoes, and my feet are on the narrow side of regular width. I sized up to size 7.5 in these shoes because the pointed toe box is narrow. The sides of the 7.5 gap a little on me, but the straps keep the shoes secure. Classy looking shoes with a little bit of uniqueness with the heel. The orange is a deep persimmon color. I purchased in black and orange. Debating if I should keep both.

The quality surprised me on these. The shoes have a padded bottom that, for a heel at least, makes your foot feel like it’s almost on a mattress. Franco Sarto’s regular brand is known for comfort, but isn’t particularly stylish so it’s clear they up-leveled chic and comfort with the Franco label. I haven’t worn them outside the house yet, so the one thing I cannot speak to is if the back of the shoe being higher to support ankle strap will rub and irritate the Achilles heel. Usually, ankle strap shoes like these can cause blisters and have a bad break-in period, but it can be mitigated with using an anti-friction/anti-chafe stick beforehand to create a layer of skin protection. Either way, will plan to keep these and who knows, maybe wearing ankle socks with heels will be in style this season! :)

These are comfortable, cute color, perfect for fall, and I got tons of compliments the few times I've worn. Unfortunately after wearing 3 times the tips wore off and scuffs easily shown. Must be poor quality patent leather. I'm glad I didn't buy a 2nd pair at the same time I got these. Real disappointment bc they are effectively disposable shoes.
