To combat the cool temperatures at high elevations, we bag peaks in the Sanne Trail Pant. Because blue skies in the alpine often only mean temporarily clear weather, Kari Traa equipped these pants with a DWR finish to keep surprise precipitation at bay. While the sun is out, the UPF 40+-rated fabric blocks UV rays.
