Wheaton Pointed Toe Flat (Women)

These were going to be my first foray into pointed toe shoes. turns out maybe they’re not for me. They fit relatively true to size and seemed somewhat comfortable for flats, but I couldn’t get over how intense that pointed toe is! I swear I’ve seen flats that have a more gentle point. I realize this is kind of ridiculous but hopefully it’s helpful to someone! I’m usually an 8.5-9 or EU 40. The 9/EU39 fit well.

I was hopeful for these shoes, but I don't like much toe cleavage showing, and with these shoes, more shows than I like. I returned them right away, so can't comment on long-term comfort. However, Sam Edelman is a great quality brand, so if you don't mind toe cleavage or have normal to short toes (mine are long :(. ), then they might work for you. I really like the style, the pointed toe and simple bow on top.

Ouch! My foot doesn't like this shoe. I sized up a half size so I'd have room in the pointed toe box, and relatively speaking, it fit better than my normal size. It's very cute and stylish with the pointed toe. Alas, my foot is hard to fit and this didn't work out. I have a wide forefoot with bunion. I also have a narrow heel, which makes finding a comfortable closed-toe shoe very difficult. Unfortunately, I had to return.

I wanted to love these. The shape was so promising- I love a pointed toe flat, especially past Sam Edelman styles that I still wear! However, these aren’t it. The sole and interior are made of a rigid and unforgiving plastic, which was surprising- I expected a leather sole and interior like my other Sam Edelman flats. Trying to walk on carpet at home to see how they felt was impossible. These were slippery and stiff! So disappointing.
